Extreme Dialogue
Diana Gibbs spent ten years honing dialoguing skills for business based on her studies of NLP, personal mastery and clean language. In 2005 she ran a successful series of summer workshops for managers. At one of these a participant described how scary it can be to challenge poor performance, likening it to a skiing ‘black run’. From this the term Extreme Dialogue emerged! It is a technique for eliciting deeper understanding in those uncomfortable conversations when we need to keep our cool.
